R/GA Studios’ mission is to advance storytelling through the use of emerging technologies.
R/GA is a full service digital agency creating products, services and communications to help grow any client’s businesses in the connected age. I was given the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies and to learn in and fast-paced environment.
Clients I worked with include:
SoulCycle, eBay Fashion, Disney, Samsung, Smirnoff, Shiseido, COTY, Mercedes Benz, Lavazza, and more.
As a production assistant for R/GA Studios, I was tasked with wearing many different hats. From an executive assistant to an account coordinator to a production coordinator, I developed a much more diverse skillset.
I provided concierge level support to 4 Studios executives; the Head of Studios, Director of Operations, and two Executive Creative Directors. I would arrange any traveling needs (rental cars, flights, hotels, etc.), as well as submit all of their expenses using Concur Solutions.
I organized weekly departmental meetings with over 30 different producers, directors, editors, and designers. For these meetings I created and maintained a universal workshare reel for Studios’ future business. It was in these meetings that I could listen and observe.
R/GA Studios Event Coordinating
The task at hand was putting together an event for all of Studios to attend either in person or via Zoom.
As the sole planner of the event, I had to:
Coordinate times with 10 other R/GA offices in 4 different continents.
Reserve a large enough space to hold 100 people comfortably.
Budget food and drinks for roughly 75 people.
Ensure that the A/V equipment was set and ready to go.
When I wasn’t providing administrative support, I could be found on the stage with photographers and production coordinators, or in editing booths with one of the many editors.
